You Can Put WHAT in a Remedy?
From sea water and salt, pathogens to metals, and so much more, the answer will surprise you!
It may surprise many to learn that, in homœopathy, almost anything can be homœopathised.
In traditional preparation, a base or morbid substance is macerated in ethanol, water, or glycerine, then serially diluted and energised through rhythmic mechanical agitation. This process known as Dilution + succussion = potentisation — transforms the substance from material to informational; an energy imprint. At its core, homœopathy is a vibrational, frequency-based medicine, working not through chemistry alone but through resonance.
Within homœopathy, remedies are understood not as chemical agents but as informational or regulatory signals. This model is supported by over two centuries of clinical use, modern developments in bioresonance and systems biology, and ongoing institutional research within AYUSH-aligned and European homœopathic bodies.
Historically, homœopathic preparations have included plant and animal tissues and secretions (the early, and misunderstood, roots of vaccination theory emerged from this line of thought), herbs, metals, minerals, elements, flowers, poisons, and even pharmaceutical drugs. In essence, anything capable of producing symptoms in a healthy individual can form the basis of a remedy, usually in the opposing force.
As a mother tincture (similar to a herbal but energised) the effects are the same as a regular medicine but the higher the potency, the higher the frequency and this creates an opposing force.
Take onion; cut an onion and it makes your eyes sting. This, along with a runny nose, symbolises the symptoms of hay fever and allergies. Allium cepa (onion remedy) is one of the best remedies for hay fever! At the other end, we take one of homœopathy’s most potent weapons, Belladonna (deadly nightshade). In its crude form it is a poison and causes heat, redness, ferocious angry symptoms. When symptoms in sickness result in heat, fever, redness, extreme aggravations, this is where potentised Belladonna is second to none. Of course there is no physical substance left, only the opposing energy imprint.
So, when you think of any poison and the effects it can cause, imagine an illness with those effects; toxicities to the cells, organs, blood, lymphatics, neurological system, skin, sensory organs, emotions even - and you are imagining the very symptoms that will respond to a well chosen remedy.
It’s another reason we avoid diagnoses; we describe the disease picture in our case taking for a very valid reason. Ten people could be diagnosed with an illness yet no two people will have identical symptoms. Imagine hayfever once again; while all may have the stinging, watery nose and eyes, one may have a frontal headache, one may have a sore throat. Yet another may have earache while another has red eyes. So while they all have the fundamental symptoms of that diagnosis, one will need Arsenicum, another will need Belladonna and so on. This is one reason I prefer the use of composite or multiple-remedy blends for my patients; it helps to avoid the hit and miss, time wasting scenario we often hear of.
I really want all of my patients and customers to understand the fundamentals of homœopathy because there is power in knowledge. But back to the incredible mystery of remedy inclusions…
With the advent of radionics and bioresonance, homœopathic principles have expanded dramatically, into what could fairly be described as a quantum field. Today, imprints may include chakras, emotions, runes, acupuncture and chiropractic (spinal) points, nutrients, and other non-material yet measurable energetic patterns.

So for argument’s sake, hyperemesis, now known to have a link to the ulcer pathogen Helicobacter pylori - this is now included in both Osmosis and Equitas and is helping pregnant women avoid the trauma of chronic nausea and vomiting throughout pregnancy.
This evolution allows an extraordinarily wide range of health fields to be distilled into a single formulation.
